Contact is one of my favorite sci-fi favorites and a science fiction masterpiece. I can watch it over and over again. The Zemeckis mark is all over this flick, which is done in Forrest Gump fashion, with ties to real events and real people.

By the movie’s end Ellie, the main character, transfoms from a religious skeptic to someone who may wind up as revered as any character from the Bible. It will all depend on who believes her space travel story.

Everyone should see this movie.
